Nicole grew up in Delaware and always had a love and passion for animals. She had many pets growing up and would try and bring home ones in need. Nicole always knew she wanted to work with animals and studied Animal Science Pre-vet at the University of Delaware. After graduating in 2010 with her Bachelors Degree, Nicole began interning at a local small animal general practice a couple days a week, which eventually turned into a full time position. In 2014, Nicole passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). After many years working in general practice, Nicole wanted to challenge herself and learn more so in 2018 she accepted a position as an emergency technician at a local emergency specialty hospital in Delaware. Nicole loved working emergency and helping critical patients in need but also missed developing long lasting client patient relationships.
Nicole has been a valued member of the Willow Grace family since September 2021. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners, and truly enjoys sharing her knowledge of veterinary medicine. Nicole has a special interest in client education as well as veterinary dentistry, and takes pride in helping others understand the best ways to care for their pets.
Nicole currently resides in Townsend with her husband Allen, their adorable daughter, and their four fur babies, Luna–a golden retriever, Doug–a ginger kitty and Izzie–Persian kitty. When not at home, Nicole can often be found at the barn spending time with her horse, Lightning. Nicole enjoys horseback riding and also spending quality time with her friends and family.
