Melanie

Melanie is a Delaware native with a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She began her career as a veterinary receptionist before pursuing additional education and training to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, earning her LVT credential in 2010.

She later joined a busy emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, where she spent eight years in emergency and critical care. During that time, Melanie developed exceptional technical skills and a strong foundation in providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.

Since joining Willow Grace Veterinary Hospital, Melanie has enjoyed building lasting relationships with pets and their families while providing compassionate, personalized care. She has a special interest in senior pet wellness and the management of diabetic patients, and she is dedicated to helping pets live their healthiest and happiest lives.

Melanie is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, and together they have three wonderful sons: Jake, Nolan, and Gannon. They also share their home with Easton, their spoiled and adorable dog. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, boating, fishing, and cheering on her boys at their sporting events.
