Sandy was born in New Jersey but has lived in Delaware for the past 19 years. She began her career in laboratory medicine working in a hospital chemistry lab. For almost 30 years, she held positions in sales, customer service and management with DuPont, Dade Behring and Siemen’s Healthcare. After retiring in 2009, she decided to pursue her love for medicine and animals and go back to school at Delaware Technical & Community College. She earned her degree in veterinary technology in 2014 and then worked for a multi-doctor clinic in PA for 7 years. Sandy started bringing her own pets to Willow Grace in 2021. She was so impressed with the people and the practice that she decided to come back to work part time with them. She had sincerely missed working with the community and their pets ever since she had retired in 2020. Sandy has a miniature wirehaired dachshund named Oscar. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, going to classes at the gym and doing some volunteer work with animal rescues.
