Jordan grew up in New Jersey and always had a passion for animals. Working in veterinary medicine was something she always wanted to do. She attended the University of Delaware (UD) to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences. She graduated in the spring of 2020 with her bachelor’s degree. While at UD, Jordan followed her passion, and started working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal practice. She also made the decision to raise a service dog through Canine Companions while at UD. Canine Companions provides service dogs to people with physical and cognitive disabilities. Her dog, Hutch, did not graduate from his service dog program, so she was able to adopt him back. He now lives the life of a regular pet!She then wanted to further her education by pursuing a Graduate Certificate and is currently attending University of Florida’s online program in Veterinary Medicine, with a focus in Shelter Medicine. Jordan moved in with her family in Maryland after graduation. She is very excited to be a part of the team at Willow Grace and is looking forward to creating relationships with clients and gaining more experience as an assistant. She recently applied to veterinary school, where she is hopeful to be accepted and then graduate as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
