Kelly is a Delaware native and graduate of Middletown High School. She always wanted to work with animals. She began her career as a grooming bather and kennel attendant before working as a veterinary assistant. While working in the emergency and surgery departments of a large Animal Hospital, she pursued training to become a licensed veterinary technician. Kelly passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) in 2008.
