Walter began his work in animal welfare as a volunteer at a local shelter, 14 years ago. From there he began coordinating the shelter’s volunteer program and assisted with numerous marketing and fundraising efforts. Later, he would go on to work in operations as Director of Operations for the Brandywine Valley SPCA; assisting with the buildout of brick-and-mortar locations across the state of Delaware and implementing new lifesaving programs. Walter has always enjoyed helping animals who needed the most care through fostering, whether it be nursing kittens, litters of puppies, or animals who needed more recovery time after a lifesaving treatment or surgery. Walter resides in Middletown, DE with his family and three dogs.
