Megan is from Smyrna, Delaware. Growing up, she always had animals, including a baby Robin, wild rabbits, horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and geese. She has always wanted to be in a field where caring for animals’ safety and well-being was the first priority. She can make any dog or cat like her within a few minutes no matter how scared or nervous they are. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program with Penn Foster with hopes of graduating in 2024 and passing her VTNE to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). She previously worked for First State Animal Center and SPCA, a small nonprofit organization, for 3 years. Having the opportunity to care for animals who don’t have a home has given her hope that one day she will open up her own rescue to continue to help those who can’t speak for themselves. Although shelter medicine holds a very special place in her heart, she is very excited to build relationships with clients and their fur-babies at Willow Grace and can’t wait to have that same connection.
