Dr. Crook grew up on a farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where caring for horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, and other large animals helped cultivate her lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a Master’s degree in Parasitology from Delaware State University.

In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Crook proudly served in the United States Army Veterinary Corps as a Major and currently remains in the inactive ready reserve.

Dr. Crook joined the team as a relief veterinarian before officially becoming an Associate Veterinarian in 2018. She looks forward to continuing to care for the pets and families of the Smyrna community as part of Willow Grace Smyrna.

Outside of work, Dr. Crook enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
