Alyssa brings nine years of experience in the pet professional industry and a lifelong connection to animals. While she has explored other fields and holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing, she has ultimately found that her true passion lies in working with animals. 
 
Dogs are her favorite, though she also has a special fondness for birds—so much so that former coworkers affectionately nicknamed her the “bird whisperer.” Alyssa hopes to one day rescue and rehabilitates birds of prey, corvids, and small parrots, turning that passion into a lifelong focus.
